This is the commercial contact page for a publication whose product is teaching people to verify a clinic themselves. That makes the commercial side narrow by design, and it makes this page mostly a list of refusals. Read it before you write to us, because it will answer most of the question.
What is actually available
Two things, and no others.
- An entry on the professional register. A paid listing of professional indemnity brokers, medico legal solicitors and training providers, sold on disclosed verifiable identifiers and kept away from every piece of patient facing guidance. The eligibility criteria and the rate are published at criteria and rate card. The register is currently empty, because no applicant has completed verification, and it is published empty rather than pre filled.
- The sponsor line in the verification note. One labelled line of up to thirty words with a single link, in our monthly email, sold at 350 pounds per issue to the same three categories. The terms are at the verification note, and its sponsor line. If an issue has no sponsor, the line is left out.
What the audience is, as far as we honestly know
We will not quote a figure we cannot stand behind, so here is the position instead. This publication is young. We do not publish a readership number, a monthly visitor count, a subscriber count or a demographic profile, because we do not yet have figures stable enough to be worth anything to a buyer. Anyone who tells you otherwise about a publication of this age is estimating.
What we can describe is the reader. Someone in the United Kingdom who is considering a cosmetic treatment and has decided to check the provider before booking, or someone who works beside that decision: a practitioner, a trainer, an indemnity broker, a solicitor. They arrive on a procedure page, follow it, and leave with a file. That is a small audience taking a specific decision, and whether it is the right audience for you is a judgement you should make from the subject matter on this site rather than from a number we have not got.
If measured figures matter to your decision, wait. We would rather lose the sale than quote you an estimate dressed as a measurement.
What the money cannot buy, in any amount
The full refusal list is published at what we refuse to sell. The short version, because it is the part people write to ask about:
- A clinic listing, a directory entry, a badge, an award, a verification mark or a kitemark of any kind, to any provider of aesthetic treatment, at any price.
- A mention, a link or a favourable word in any procedure, article, comparison or checklist.
- Any position, order, score or verdict. Nothing on this publication is ranked by who paid.
- Influence over a single word of verification guidance, advance sight of anything before it is published, or the exclusion of anyone else.
- Lead generation, enquiry forwarding, the subscriber list, or any access to the people who read this site.
Claims, the law and what we will check
A sponsor line or a register entry is advertising, and it is held to the UK advertising rules like any other advertising. We check the wording before it runs. We will not publish a claim about a treatment working, being safe, being effective or being suitable for anyone, because this publication does not make those claims in its own voice and will not carry them in someone else's. We will not publish a claim about qualifications, registration or regulatory status that the public registers do not support, and we check the identifiers you give us against them.
Being on a register proves a professional status and nothing about competence in a treatment, as set out in registration and treatment training, what to check. We will not let a paid entry imply otherwise.
How every relationship is disclosed
Every page that earns anything says so on the page itself. A sponsor line is labelled as a sponsor line. A register entry sits on its own page, which states that it is paid. A paid or affiliate link carries the sponsored link attribute. If a company holding a paid entry ever became the subject of editorial coverage, the entry would be removed and the former relationship disclosed in that coverage. We do not run native advertising, sponsored articles, advertorial or paid guest posts, and we do not accept free products, treatments or trips.
How to ask
Write to us through contact, saying which of the two things you are asking about and giving the registration or authorisation number for your business. We will tell you plainly whether you are eligible, and we say no more often than yes. Nothing on this page is an offer capable of acceptance, and we take no payment through this site.
